As far as holidays go, it’s Thanksgiving that makes me miss the United States the most.  Sure, we’ll have the full dinner tonight (details to come, if I can manage a camera and a turkey at once), but for some reason, it doesn’t FEEL like Thanksgiving.  We don’t have family coming over at 1, or football playing on the TV.  Heck, we don’t even have the day off.

But that doesn’t mean we’re not thankful.  The nice thing about Thanksgiving is that it doesn’t matter where you are or with whom you spend it, it’s just about taking a little bit of time out of our overly scheduled lives to remember that we have it better than we think we do.  So, a couple of photos of our home here in Switzerland to remind me that I should be thankful and shouldn’t complain about being so far away from the USA when I have this out my living room window.

And this out my office window.

And these guys as our neighbors.
